Shipping/Returns
Shipping Policy
Design Dolce Vita has chosen to use UPS to ship all products. All instock products will be processed within 1-2 business days Monday-Friday 8-6:00pm. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. All shipments will be UPS Ground unless specified by the customer. You can expect East coast packages to arrive within 1-3 business days and West coast packages within 4-5 business days. UPS does not ship on weekends or holidays. Shipments outside the U.S. will be based on the cost to deliver to the specific country. The cost of shipping for each package is based on weight of the order. When making a purchase billing and shipping address, phone number and credit card number is needed.
A confirmation email will be provided with details of the order. Credit cards will be charged when the package ships.
Refunds/Exchanges
Refunds are accepted within 10 days of receiving the order. Shipping charges are not refundable. After 10 days, online store credit only. Exchanges are accepted for items of equal monetary value. We accept visa, mastercard, american express and discover.
Damaged Merchandise
If an order is received damaged due to shipping, please keep the merchandise, original packing slip, and contact customer service at eileen@designdolcevita.com or call 404-788-2833 or fax 770-805-9295.
Backorders
Due to the products being handmade in Italy, occasionally there might be some products that are backordered. If the product is backordered, the customer will be notified and given the estimated delivery time. The customer may choose to cancel their order.
Sales Tax
There will be no sales tax unless you are a resident of Georgia or the order is delivered in state of Georgia.
Security
Design DolceVita uses SSL (Secured Socket Layer) authentication which encrypts your personal information so third parties can not access it. Your password is protected for privacy and security. We do not sell, trade or license personal information to third parties. If you do not choose to share your information online, you can call customer service at 404-788-2833 and your order can be placed to ensure your privacy. Please use a lan line instead of mobile phone for privacy purposes.
